Linescripts Softwares Private Limited (referred to here as "Linescripts", "we", "us") operates linescripts.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the site or contact us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and your rights.

Information you provide through forms. When you submit our contact, consultation, or product enquiry forms we collect:

• Your name, work email, and optionally phone number and company.
• Your message, the project type, budget range and timeline you select, and whether you have indicated a need for an NDA.
• Any document you choose to attach to a consultation request.

Information collected automatically. When you access the site we record basic request metadata (IP address, user-agent) for security, rate limiting, and operational diagnostics. We also use cookies strictly necessary for sessions and security; see our Cookie Policy.

Why we collect it

• To respond to enquiries, evaluate project fit, and deliver services you request.
• To prevent spam and abuse of our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile is used for bot challenge).
• To meet contractual, accounting, and operational obligations.

Where required, our legal basis is your consent (when you submit a form), the performance of a contract or steps preparatory to one, and our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site.

How long we keep it

• Contact and consultation submissions are retained for the duration of the relationship and a reasonable period afterward, typically up to three years, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
• Server access logs are retained for up to ninety days.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers strictly necessary to operate the site: Cloudflare (CDN, DNS, Turnstile bot challenge) and Google Workspace (business email).
• Authorities or counter-parties where required by law or by an enforceable order.

International transfers

The site is hosted on infrastructure located in Europe. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable period and at most within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Children

The site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through our site, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be brought to your attention through reasonable means.
